if one of these characters has no name i'll refer to them as the cephalopod they're based on.
also idk if i should make there be more than one of them. i think that maybe they would both (feri and vsg) be in love????????? maybe they're the main two ones at first and then the others join later on. the others would include a blue ringed octopus based girl and some sort of squid based girl. i think that there would also be a nautilus girl involved somehow but as an ancestor/precursor to them.
feri would be the main character and leader of the group. she would have a lot of hearts in her design and would be the cheerful and goofy one. her companion is a tiny flamboyant cuttlefish which takes the form of a charm on a necklace/choker she wears. she has pink, grey, and yellow hair which resembles the design of her companion. her dress/general outfit has dark purple, pink, and yellow, she has puffy sleeves that are connected to gloves by a... ribbon? idk what its supposed to be tbh. not sure what shoes she'd wear but i think they'd be boots maybe?
vsg would take a more defensive/healing(?) stance in battle, making magical shields to protect herself and the other girls that resemble a vampire squid in defensive position. she looks intimidating, but is really sweet and loyal to her friends. she'd have a personality kinda similar to me i guess? caring a lot about the things others would call gross, like vultures and bugs. her liking vultures would make sense, considering both vultures and vamp squids eat already dead things but are stereotypically seen as scary. her companion would be a vampire squid that takes the form of an umbrella/parasol. her design would definitely be more 'gothy', with a lot of black and red, and i think her hair would be either fully black or being black in certain parts but mostly red. maybe her symbol would be something like bones, a skull, or an upside down heart?
